The following is a list of the statuses that are displayed in the Status window in the filter, along with a definition of each.
- ML – Multilingual students that have not met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments
- ML Screener – Multilingual students that have not met exit criteria on the WIDA Screener or the K-WAPT
- ML Pending – Multilingual students that have been identified in the student information system (SIS) as EL and don’t have any corresponding ACCESS scores to reflect that in EduSkills or they have historical ACCESS scores in EduSkills that don’t meet exit criteria but no scores in the current year
- ML Pending Alternate – Multilingual tudents that have been identified in the SIS as ML and don’t have any corresponding Alternate ACCESS scores to reflect that in EduSkills or they have historical Alternate ACCESS scores in EduSkills that don’t meet exit criteria but no scores in the current year
- Fluent English Speaker – Students that have never been identified as multilingual or have taken the WIDA Screener and have met automatic exit criteria.
- 1st Year Proficient – Former ML students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window from the previous school year
- 2nd Year Proficient – Former ML students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window two years prior to the current school year
- 3rd Year Proficient – Former ML students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window three years prior to the current school year
- 4th Year Proficient – Former ML students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window four years prior to the current school year
- Exited/5+ Years Proficient – Former ML students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window 5+ years prior to the current school year
- There are other various statuses that can be assigned based on uncommon statuses that come from the SIS. These statuses will be duplicated into EduSkills, i.e. Unknown LEP
